Mine Site Rehabilitation

An important a part of a mine lifecycle is the restoration of the land when the project has been completed. This is known as mining reclamation or remediation.

Although mining remediation happens at the end of a mining project, it must be planned at the beginning within the mine closure plan. The land should be restored to approximate original contour (AOC) or leave the land graded and suitable for a “higher and better” post-mining land use (PMLU). At ReGen, we help mining companies across Australia create and implement mine site rehabilitation and closure plans.

How ReGen can help

The ReGen team work side by side with clients to develop mine rehabilitation solutions that help bring back a location’s former land profile. By using closure plans and mine site rehabilitation solutions, we help mining companies follow regulations and complete their projects the best way possible.
